BRIDGE OVER RIVER INDUS CONNECTING AMRI (N-55) AND QAZI AHMED (N-5)
National Highway Authority (NHA) has embarked upon plan to construct Bridge over River Indus connection Amri (N-55) and Qazi Ahmed (N-5), Sindh, Pakistan.M/s A. A. Associates are the consultants for the project.
Geotechnical Services was assigned to carry out detailed Soil Investigation and foundation analysis for the project. The subsoil investigation was performed in June-August, 2009. The project consisted of drilling 11 boreholes varying from 30m to 60m depth, while 12 testpits were also excavated upto a depth of 2.0m. The project provided a challenging task for our engineers, geologists and workers to carry out site investigation in a extremely hot and humid conditions.
