WIDENING & IMPROVEMENT OF RAKHI-GAJJ & BEWATA SECTION
National Highway Authority has planned the widening & improvement of Rakhi Gajj-Bewata Section of DG Khan-Quetta Highway. The geotechnical survey consisted of drilling 66 boreholes at different bridge, retaining wall and tunnel locations.
Work was undertaken in rugged mountainous terrain. Downhole seismic test was also performed for the determination of shear wave velocity, dynamic shear modulus, Young’s modulus and other dynamic parameters.
