INTEGRATED CONTAINER TERMINAL
A container terminal was proposed to be constructed on the East Wharf of Karachi Port. Geotechnical investigation comprised the drilling of on-shore and off-shore boreholes, excavation of test pits and field CBR.
The off-shore boreholes were drilled from a cantilever platform as these were located at a distance of 3m from the quay wall.
